The UP GNM Entrance Test (UPGET) 2025 is a state-level nursing entrance examination conducted by the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow. This entrance test is held for admission to the 3-year General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) program in various private nursing institutions affiliated with the Uttar Pradesh State Medical Faculty (UPSMF).
Candidates from both science and arts streams with at least 40% marks in 10+2 (with English as a subject) are eligible to apply. Those who have completed the ANM course or hold vocational healthcare qualifications are also eligible, provided they are registered with the respective council. There is no upper age limit, which opens the door to freshers and mid-career professionals alike who aspire to enter the nursing field.
The UPGET 2025 is being held in offline mode across various cities in Uttar Pradesh including Agra, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Kanpur, and others. The admit card is already available from 04 June 2025, and the exam will be conducted on 11 June 2025.
